Garniture of Duke Albrekt

A field-and-tilt garniture made in the south around 1581 for Duke Albrekt of Vendal, listed at eleven pieces in the 1622 inventory. Seven surviving components—a close helmet, gorget, breastplate, backplate, two tassets, and a grandguard—rest on grey felt on Vic's bench. It is classed as dormant Regalia and remains unattuned, though the Exchange has offered fourteen hundred Marks to purchase the seven pieces.
