Rook-Hound
CreatureRawLevel 4
A deep-chested beast the size of a large dog, built long and lean like a greyhound, with cock-spurred feet and a ruff of crow-black feathers running from the skull along the spine. Two entered the Arsenal armoury within an hour of the lights failing and were killed on the tiles, the first by Vic's sword to become his recorded first kill, and the second by Owen's spear and Vic's point after it seized Owen's forearm.

Chapter 1Exchange Pieces
- Description
- Long, lean and deep-chested with a lowered tail; a ruff of black feathers from the skull along the spine, thinning to a greyhound's grey pelt on the flanks; long-toed feet with a spur at the back like a fighting cock's; eyes that give torchlight nothing back. It smells of hot wet feathers and something worse.
- Origin
- Two of the forty Raw-tier beasts seeded into the Arsenal district reach the armoury within the first hour. Both die on the museum's tiles, one to Vic's longsword and one to Owen's spear, and the first is Vic's recorded first kill.
