Sounding Collar
Item
A pair of hinged bronze neck bands with inward white ceramic contacts, kept in fitted wraps in a changing recess with spare cartridges. Bound since a night’s sleep, the larger to Vic and the smaller to Kate, they allow breathing underwater to four metres at a cost in charge, but give no warmth or relief from fear.
