Sounding Glass

A round pane of smoke-grey glass in a bronze rim, kept in a canvas sleeve; looking through it only makes a room darker. It came from the island station’s equipment bay, where a signed drawing was left in its place, and Vic calls it the station glass. What it is for is unknown.
