Gordon, Owen’s neighbour across the court, who comes into the Arsenal twice a week to take Owen to lunch and argue about films. He wears a brown cardigan over a wrongly buttoned shirt, and his bad knee leaves him wanting a way out he can manage alone. His sister is among the names set down for enquiry, with word that he is at home.
